The kids have good reason to celebrate when Grandma comes to stay. She brings them gifts, spoils them rotten, and she plays with them better than my husband or I ever do. She’s fun, and has us in hoots of laughter. But she is a stickler for tidiness, so we have to get the kid’s room tidy. I’m trying to get some plastic shelving ideas together, so we can install some new shelves in their bedrooms before Grandma arrives. The boys are helping me choose, as they want to impress her too. by the way, “boys” includes my husband. He loves his Grandma. And he’s petrified of putting a foot wrong!
