Do you think it is possible to find the most energy efficient refrigerator? I started to look online on the internet and then on one of those question sites, I started asking questions on the best way to purchase a new fridge. There are all kinds of web sites out there that will sell me what I want, but I’m still very hesitant about this for some reason. I guess it reminds me of buying flowers on the phone, site unseen. You never know exactly what you are going to get until it has been delivered. You know what I mean?

Have you seen all the hybrid roses they make now? Black ones, purple ones, lavender ones, even green ones. I saw where they put dye in the water they feed to them so this turns them other colors.

Right on. And the women will not think twice about paying fifteen dollars for a small rose bush at the local plant nursery but will haggle over a two dollar price for a flat of tomatoes. Go figure.

Well, women do not care if the flowers you buy them die a few days after they receive them. They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but flowers come in at a very close second place.

Hey, I’m so old I have to ask my great grand kids to help out! In fact, I am so old that I was the person that called the police on David and goliath. You all take that on down the road I yelled!

Buying flowers is a trip isn’t it? You buy them, you have them brought to the house, and a couple of days later, they die! Has anyone ever tried to get their money back for dead flowers? What a rip off job!

Or you could just ask one of your kids or grand kids to help you out. Them young ones really know how to work all those fancy gadgets. My grandson can work a cell phone faster than I can run the toaster.

You might try going to your local library and see if one of the librarians would walk you through operating on the internet. They are usually very helpful in that regard, or so has been my personal experience.

You must be from the Baby Boomer generation I am guessing? No offence intended, I am one of those too. I know how it feels and I can understand your angst. We are just going to have to get used to all these new fangled gadgets.
