After a Rhinoplasty procedure is done, you are generally able to go back to work after 1-3 weeks, depending on how well and quickly you are recovering. Your doctor will give you the go ahead if he/she feels you are able to return to work. You can expect to have bruising and swelling after Rhinoplasty for approximately 6 weeks, so if you have to return to work before that time, be prepared to answer a lot of questions from your coworkers about why you look the way that you do. Even if you are recovered enough to return to work, you should steer clear of any sort of exercising for a good 6 weeks. This is because you don’t want to jostle or loosen anything up inside your nasal passage, especially if you still have stitches in your nasal cavity.
