As I mentioned before the LVN diploma is necessary for me to successfully become a licensed vocational nurse. The diploma is a recognition which indirectly states that I have successfully passed the theoretical aspect of the LVN requirements. Furthermore, the diploma is usually achieved by doing particular certificates for example, Certificate I, Certificate II, Certificate III, Certificate IV will be needed to be acquired. Once this has been achieved the diploma may not be necessary, since you have indirectly passed the theoretical aspect in becoming a LVN. Furthermore, it is usually countries such as America which will allow you to achieve your diploma in one go. As for countries such as Australia the Certificate of I, II, III, IV will be enough for one to successfully become a licensed vocational nurse.
