The other day my high school held a career day. We were able to walk around and talk to people in different careers to see exactly what they do, how much schooling is required and how much they make on average. At first, I wasn’t too excited about this special event and decided to just sit on the bleachers and wait for it to be over. However, someone had left a Dental Assistant Job Description on the seat and I read it. It was very interesting so I decided to go visit that booth. I did and the young lady manning it spoke to me for over an hour. I’m now considering a career in this field and have an appointment with my guidance counselor next week to see what he thinks.
