My husband and I spent many years raising our children and now like many other people our age we have found ourselves with an empty nest. At first I was so sad because I missed our kids very much. A friend of mine is having a house built in the mountains of West Virginia. She just asked me to go online and check prices for a Briggs And Stratton Standby Generator. This needs to be a whole house generator as they often lose power during the winter months. I asked how often this happens and how long they do without electricity. Imagine my surprise when she said her parents were without power for a month last year. Thankfully they have this type of whole house generator so they were covered. I can’t imagine living that way. It would drive me crazy. I can see why she refuses to build a house without having this appliance installed.

I have a really small bathroom, which is one of the negatives of living in a very small apartment. I spent a long time thinking about the best way to refurbish my bathroom in order to make the most of the space, and in the end I decided that a Corner Bathtub would be the best thing. I found one that fitted neatly into the space I had, and now my bathroom feels much more spacious, in fact even to the point of feeling big enough to fit two baths! I think this style is a great invention and would heartily recommend it.

We really need to put some new siding on this house. It doesn’t look like we will be able to sell it, so I guess we will just fix it up and stay here. I have in mind the type of siding I want and it think Kaycan vinyl siding would be a good option for us. I have been doing a lot of research on the internet and there is a lot of information available. There are a lot of sales going on right now and some even offer free estimates and some great discounts on labor. Now that’s a good deal!

Everyone knows Jerry as the handyman around the neighborhood. If anyone needs something fixed, they give Jerry a call to have him take care of it for them. We are trying to do our best to be as energy efficient as possible. While I know the solar roofing shingles pricing is still a bit steep, I think it will pay off in the long run. I would really love to be in a position where the utility company paid me for a change instead of me always paying for the utility companies rates. If you are in the restaurant business, then you would understand that keeping the place well ventilated and stylish is very important.
