One of the day’s I looked forward to the most in my life was the day I was going to get my driver’s license. I had gotten the manual and read and reread it until it was a permanent part of my mind. Mentally I had driven around every street within six blocks radius of the DMV office so I was prepared for the driver’s test. My father picked me up after school and took me to the DMV. By the time we had gone through all the lines and I had taken the written test it was time for them to close. They would give me my Dmv Driver’s Permit. I had to return another day to take the driving test and get my full license.
