Even for people who are not technically project managers, the skills that are learned through project management courses can be applied across a wide variety of business (and even personal life) situations. Project management course teach students how to think logically and methodically through all the issues that might affect the success of a project, starting with a definition of the project, its objectives and its expected outcomes. These course then teach you to think about all of the “players” in a project, and how they could affect its outcome. And you’ll learn how to look to potential problems in the project, how to deal with those problems and how even to get started again once things get off track.
