I am a manager in a corporate environment and one of my duties has been to maintain our in-house management web software. This software is written mostly in java and javascript, but we also have used C/C++ for some of our longer running projects. With the growth of the computer industry, our IT department has become overwhelmed just with maintaining our networks and employee computers.
So, I have been thinking about moving the maintenance of the sofater to offshore software development outsourcing. The advantages are highly trained specialists that focus only on developing the software instead of splitting their time with writing software and maintaining networks and servers. I think that I can reduce my company’s costs and increase its efficiency by moving this operations offshore.
I have spoke with my IT manager and many of the IT staff and they agree with me 100%.
