My brother purchased a home last year and has worked feverishly on the lawn with weed trimmer, lawn grass seed and liquid lawn fertilizer. Recently he purchased two Push Lawn Mowers, one for the front yard and one for the back. I asked him why he did not purchase a gas-powered mower and he said he thought the “old fashioned” mowers cut the grass best as long as the blades were sharpened regularly. He asked me if I had any flower garden ideas and what styles of wooden fences should he choose. I am going to help him with some ideas and actually get it started for him next weekend.

Many serious fans, and others, build trips around this event and take part in the festivities that celebrate the life of this famous reggae star.

I have found that once you have replaced a household faucet, its not that big of a deal. Porbably the most important thing to remember is to turn off the water.  Hopefully, your old faucet had shutoff valves on both the hot and cold water side.  But in any case, turn off the main supply valve for water to your house.  Yes, that’ probably the one in the back of a corner that nobody ever goes in. Then make sure to turn on some faucets that you are not working on to relieve the pressure and get rid of water still in the line. That will save you taking an unwanted shower under the sink while you do the replacement.

We have a constant battle to stay healthy and disease free. With our fast paced life styles, we can not seem to find time to be able to take care of our bodies the way in which we should. Workouts are constantly on our agenda, but somehow, we never get around to doing it. Fortunately, the Jack Lalane Juicer has come to the rescue.. I enjoy these drinks since they truly do offer me the most nutrition. I get more than my adequate supply of fruits and vegetables. This particular fruit juicer provides me with the strength to complete what I started. I no longer put off doing exercise mainly because now I possess abounding energy.

I recently bought a new to me car and decided to get some new custom mud flaps. It’s an SUV and I think that some Tweety Bird flaps would really make it look cute and put in my company URL at the bottom.  I have a shop that sells consignment kids’ clothes so I think it would also be great advertising for my company.  The mud flaps I am looking at  I can also get customized. Price is an issue as usual but if they are advertising my business also , they are doing double duty. That is is good thing.

I know most people could care less about there neighbors. You may give lip service to them as far as saying you care but when push comes to shove, its every man or woman for themself.  The problem is that is doesn’t work for fossil fuels.  If you start thinking about things like  hybrid domestic vehicles you will see how going green energy programs really have their place.  It save YOU money and it helps everyone in the the long run. If my little wind turbine and my Prius save me money plus help the “big picture” I am all for it.

I always figured that even if I used a layaway plan at a store, that I would have to have a credit card as back up.  I then started reading some layaway reports on different blogs and I found out that I wouldn’t have to have a credit card for anything to do with layaway. I also find out the I could use layaway online.  That is such a neat idea.  I have seen a lot of major stores online starting to offer layaway plans.  I think it will help the stores make sales and I know it will help my family.

I work in a book bindery, and I have such an interesting day when I go to work.  We put coil binding on books.  This way, you can open a book, and have it lay flat on its back.  I run what is called a Coil Binding Machine.  It winds coils in to the spine of the book, while it punches holes.  I always find it very neat when I watch this machine be put to work.  If we are not busy, I am allowed to bring in books of my own in which I can put a coil bind in the spine.

My wife and I decided that we wanted all hard surfaces when we purchased a home about 4 years ago.  And for the most part we love having the hard surfaces.  You know when they need cleaned, and you can tell when they are not.  However, the surfaces seem to get really dull with the cleaning agents that we are using. But I just recently heard about a steam cleaner that can help not only restore that shine, but get the grime off easily.  The Euro Pro Steam Cleaner has been tearing up the corner of the market for years now. 

I’ve been quite happy with my bed. It has served me well and the quality of my sleep has been pretty good. That is, until I house sat for my parents when they went to Europe for two weeks. They have this amazing Visco Foam Mattress on their bed that feels like heaven. I got used to it and it completely ruined me for my old bed! I joked with my Mom that they need to get me a topper for my bed as payment for staying at their home while they were away. Alas, I must buy one very soon!

Learning music is a lot like going through life in general; it’s important to go at in your own way and at your own pace. Some people know from a very early age that they have a love for music or a particular instrument and they spend the rest of their lives playing that instrument.
